In-Situ Remediation

In-Situ Remediation is the process of cleaning up contamination "in place" and can eliminate the need for costly excavation and disposal. Ground Force is an industry leader in regards to In-Situ Remediation technologies and our team has experience with a variety of in-situ methods such as Soil Vapor Extraction (SPV), Air Sparging, Multi-Phase Extraction Systems (MPE), Chemical Oxidation (ISCO), Permeable Reactive Barriers and Bioremediation to tackle even the most complex contaminated site.

Ground Force has a proven track record of cleaning up sites contaminated with both dense non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPLs) such as trichloroethylene (TCE), perchloroethylene (PCE), polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) and heavy crude oil; as well as light non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPLs) such as petroleum hydrocarbons (PAHs). Every site is different and before in-situ remediation is started the source of the site’s contamination must be located, the site must be delineated to determine the extent of the contamination and the hydrogeology of the site must be ascertained.
